Director of Data Science / Senior Data Scientist
AccuLine is a medical device startup founded with a vision to save the lives of millions of people worldwide by preventing the next heart attack.
AccuLine is developing CORA - a fast, accurate, non-invasive, inexpensive, and user-friendly examination for the early detection of coronary artery disease, aiming to replace inaccurate stress test exams.
AccuLine received grants from Google and the Israeli Innovation Authority, and among our investors are eHealth Ventures, Maccabi Healthcare Services, and Mayo Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the complete life cycle of machine learning models.
Problem analysis, research / experiment definition, data preparation and exploration, model design, testing and validation, model deployment and refinement.
Establish and utilize a cloud-based data science management platform.
Create thorough documentation of model design, experiments, tests & validations.
Collaborate with external vendors to integrate data processes and ML models into the product.
Must Have
Academic degree (BSc and above) in exact sciences, bio-sciences, statistics, engineering, economics, or neuroscience.
2+ years of proven experience in the development of ML models, within industry or advanced academic environment.
Knowledge in 'classical ML' regression and classification methods (linear, logistic, SVM, tree-based models, etc.).
Knowledge in implementation of different deep learning architectures and techniques - CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer, Self-supervised, Foundation models, etc.
Experience in implementation of ML/DL techniques on time series data.
High proficiency in Python
Experience in working with TensorFlow/PyTorch
Strong Advantage
Advanced academic degree
Healthcare industry experience.
Experience with signal processing of bio-signals.
Knowledge in Biostatistics - including hierarchical modeling, Bayesian methods, power calculations.
Experience with code development workflows in a command-line linux environment.
Experience with AWS or other cloud-based tools and technologies for data pipelining, model development and deployment.
Experience with setting up and working with a data science management platform such as MLFlow, DVC, ClearML, etc.
