Paths to the University

"Paths to the University" is TAU’s flagship program for social involvement. The main goal of this program is to motivate junior and senior high school students from Greater Tel Aviv’s social and geographic periphery to aspire to scholastic success and engagement in the academic world. Tel Aviv University students introduce teens to the many disciplines taught at TAU and provide them with the tools they need to increase admission and graduation rates. TAU students serve as role models and mentors, creating an exciting aura around university life and teaching valuable learning skills through various on-site visits and special events. Students are also empowered through the process; they gain practical, real-world experience working with different segments of Israeli society, and confidence in their ability to affect change.
