Faculty in Service of the Community

Faculty in Service of the Community” creates a new framework to encourage social involvement of faculty members and strengthen ties between the community and the university. The goals of this program are:

• To acknowledge and encourage faculty members engaged in social activity
• To increase the number of faculty members leading social and community work

Faculty members selected for the program receive an annual budget to develop their project and professional guidance through the Unit for Social Involvement. Faculty projects are carried out with the help of student volunteers.
