The Student Success Center: Overview

The Dean of Students Office was originally established at TAU in 1973 in the wake of the Yom Kippur War as a means of providing vital support to student army reservists who were returning from the battlefield. Now, 50 years later, its role in assisting reservists will be more crucial than ever in the wake of the Gaza war.

Recently, Tel Aviv University upgraded and transformed its Dean of Students Office into the Student Success Center.

Our Mission

To provide a streamlined, holistic support framework to Israel’s most precious resource – its future leaders, educators, and innovators – to ensure they fulfill their academic potential, successfully complete their degrees and achieve their career goals.  In tandem, one of the Center’s guiding values is the encouragement of active citizenship among the student population. It operates a wide range of initiatives that strengthen students’ sense of belonging, social responsibility, and community engagement.
